new beginnings.

This is my first entry, as I enter the blogging world. With this blog I hope to get my writing going and document it as it progresses. I hope to document my photography as well. Here's to new beginnings...

This was the first time I had gone to the LA fair since I was ten. I went with two of my friends Taylor and Edward. We thought it was going to be busy considering we went on the very last day of the fair (October 3). It wasn't so packed when we arrived at 3:30. Regular admission for the fair was $17 but we got our tickets where we work so we got in for $10. Overall, I have to say I enjoyed it. (Although most of the food was highly overpriced.) I took $40 and by lunch time I was down to $10. That wasn't enough for most of the food there. The food selection was pretty tempting, from bbq's to deep fried twinkies. It seemed everything was deep fried. They even had deep fried white castle!

They had a neat petting zoo. Unfortunately, it was a bit full and I struggled to get past all the children. I managed to get some shots though. They had llamas !

They also had a bunny ranch set up. This one seemed to be a bit lazy...

The fair had many different attractions including The Canine Extreme Canine Show. The trainers kept saying they had appeared on E! and received a lot of press yet when the show rolled around the dogs didn't seem to want to cooperate. I don't blame them. Lastly, at the end of the night a guy came up to me and asked me if I wanted tickets. I asked what kind of tickets and he said for the concert. I said No, thanks and walked away. (Turns out they were for 3OH!3 who was playing that night.) My friends, who turns out are fans, were disappointed. I, on one part, was not upset because I am not a fan. I ended the night with a deep fried twinkie, and bought one for my boyfriend. I promised I'd take him one !
