Griffith Park

This place is amazing. The observatory is filled with so many neat things and has such a beautiful view of all of Los Angeles. I instantly loved it! I had been wanting to visit for quite some time so when a few friends suggested we drive up there last night I grabbed my camera and was ready to go. Since they close at 10, I didn't get a good chance to explore the whole place but I did manage to jot down a few dates for upcoming meteor showers. I love this type of thing; space, planets and the stars, don't you? I find it all to be very interesting.

I plan to go back with Abe to see a meteor shower. I think it would make a great date night. (If you're in the area, check out their website by clicking here.)

I hope all of you had a great weekend! :)

These photos are beautiful. I showed them to my daughter, who has visited Los Angeles recently, and she was very happy to see it. It's one of the destinations that I would like to visit.

I love Griffith Park! Such a beautiful and inspirational observatory. My favorite display is the star-jewelry model of the universe's timeline. You should go hiking around the area if you get a chance!

Well.. I want a japanese cherry tree on my back, with pink flower and "Abuelo". Abuelo means grandpa' in spanish, and this tatoo will be for him, he passed away 4 years ago and it was really hard for me because he was like a second father..
