I like to think images are short episodes, fragments of time frozen within four borders.

For those of you who have been reading with my blog since I blogged about Chinatown, you might remember me mentioning my future summer trip to San Fransisco. Well after adding up the expenses, Abraham and I decided to cancel the trip to San Francisco and save up our money to go to New York in December for New Years. I was really cool about staying local this summer and not traveling but about a week ago, Abe suprised me by telling me he's going to take me to Catalina Island. I'm super excited because it's semi local (the island is only a 20 minute boat ride from LA) and it won't cost so much. I've never been there and have only heard stories about when he went with his family.

I looked up some photos on Flickr to give me an idea of what to expect. The following was one of my favorites (not mine.) Clicking on the photo will send you directly to it's rightful owner.

IMG 0223 Two Harbors, Catalina Island

I think it'd be fun to do a post on some of the things I want to try and do once I'm there (take a tour to see the flying fish, rent a kayak + snorkeling) and maybe give a little history on the island. If you are interested, let me know :D

I have truly come to appreciate all of your constant support and friendships, (you know who you are.) Thank you x

Great shots!

You've picked a great time of year to visit New York. A trip through a snowy central park with its many bridges and frozen ponds is quite breathtaking. Everything is even more lit up than usual from the Christmas lights. It really is something else.

I love how you have four sunset shots yet they're all different in a way. I personally love the sunset shot with the electric cords because you take something so fundamental such as the electric line and make it look so geometric and intricate! Love your photos and will be following to see more! (:

ps. i noticed your from LA and have fun places to visit in LA! Im totally gonna be checking out the places!
