sunday afternoon at The Grove

Hello my lovely readers. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas =) Abe and I both had the day the off yesterday so we decided to go to the Grove (Los Angeles). I had wanted to go before they took down the huge Christmas tree they put up every year. It was so festive, with all of the lights and the tree. It almost made me wish Christmas was not over.

The Grove is an outdoor mall; they have shops, restaurants and a movie theatre. My favorite part is their three-story Barnes and Noble!

They also have a neat farmer's market filled with almost any kind of food you can think of. My personal favorite is their funnel cake. After we went into most of the shops, Abe and I took turns taking pictures by the huge Christmas tree. This tree is bigger than the one at Disneyland. You would think Disneyland's would beat every other tree out there.

This Christmas was one of the best I've had. As I get older I've come to realize Christmas isn't so much about the presents but the people you spend it with. I'll be sharing some of things I received on my next post. I'm already looking forward to the New Year. I started writing down some of my new year's resolutions. I'll be sharing that as well!
