Disneyland ♥

The weather on Monday was sunny, with a nice breeze and clear blue skies. Abe and I woke up early and headed to Anaheim. We were surprised it wasn’t as packed as we thought it would be and to see so many couples. We thought it was mostly going to be packed with a lot of middle school and high school kids (since it was a holiday.) I thought it was cute so many people choose to come here to celebrate.

We went on most of the small rides first before they got too packed. I loved the uniforms the girls were wearing for this ride. Aren't their hats adorable? (The next few pictures were from inside the "It's a Small World" ride.)

I didn't exactly know how to go about taking pictures at Disneyland because it’s a place that’s been photographed so many times. I tried to take pictures from different angles so I could get a different approach on such a familiar place. Here are the results:

After we had dinner, we went to the park that’s right next to Disneyland: California Adventure.

As it started to get dark, Abe and I began to adjust the settings on my camera so my pictures (like the one above) wouldn't come up so dark. That’s when two girls approached us and asked us to take their picture. When they saw us with my camera they said "great! You guys are professionals!" It was very flattering, since we are far from it!

I found that I like photographing Disneyland better at night. I thought all of the different colors made each picture have a cool effect.

(I started and ended this post by taking two seperate pictures from the same location, the only difference being night and day.) Which one do you like better?

& lastly, I wanted to share what Abe gave me on Monday:
(as careful as I tried to be bringing it home, the icing on the left side managed to get a little ruined.)

Yes, it's an oversized Mrs. Field's cookie! I had been eyeing one of these at the mall for a few weeks now so I was excited when Abe gave me one. I was already reaching for a knife, getting ready to cut it when Abe says quietly "aren't you going to take a picture of it for your blog?" I thought it was sweet of him to have remembered my blog (I would have too but I was too busy trying to eat it!)haha..

I wanted to thank you all for your comments! They're wonderful :) I look forward to reading your blogs! ♥

These shots are just lovely! My favorite would be the one with the Ferris wheel reflecting into the water.

Great pics! Thanks for the mental vacation! I used to works at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, but Disneyland has more things to offer than Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Cute cookie, I got my boyfriend one too. He's always saying I should take a pic of things for the blog now :)

I love the pictures at night! But the one at dusk (the 17th picture) is the one I like the most ;)
I did not yet get grades for my essays, but I hope for the best. Now I have to write two term papers... Work doesn't stop... *sigh* I hope you don't study too hard! ;)
