I always find Japanese gardens to be so beautiful and relaxing.
I love all of the pretty flowers and the ponds full of Koi fish.
On Friday morning Abraham and I went to the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Long Beach. I really liked that admission was free and parking was $2 for an hour.
This is the Koi Feeding Station. I thought it was really cute and couldn't help taking a picture of it. A handful of Koi food was only a quarter.
Abe and I had so much fun feeding the Koi fish. We touched them a few times since they were so close to us. They didn't seem to mind, as long as we continued to feed them.
(look at how crazy they get!)
The garden is small enough to walk around the whole place in less than 15 minutes but we walked around slowly, taking time to really enjoy it. If you're in the Long Beach area, I'd definitely recommend it! (Click here for their website.)
oh wooow! i envy you! hehehe. the Japanese Garden looks like a photography haven. <3 your hair is sooo pretty. (: these are some really great shots, love! xx
Ser Vlad: I agree, springtime is one of my favorite seasons to photograph. You should definitely come back to the US! :)
Tasha: It was. I took over 200 pictures but had to narrow it down to fifteen for this post! I always get a bit carried away. Thank you, I recently dyed it red :)
